Custom Vinyl Binders

  • Action Loose leaf inc. can customize  or decorate your binders or any of our other  products using the most common and current methods, such as:

As well, adding pockets and other decorations will further enhance your project [faq 17]

Screen printing

is a very universal decoration method for vinyl. We are able to screen print on any of your vinyl binder or custom projects, this is a simple way to promote your customers company or product .

Screen printing is a process where which ink is applied  directly to the  vinyl/poly surface to be printed. The image to be printed is photographically transferred to a very fine fabric/screen called a screen such that the non-printing areas are blocked to allow the fabric to serve as a stencil. The ink is wiped across the screen to pass through the unblocked pores and reach the substrate. For each colour of ink to be printed a separate screen is prepared and the process is repeated.

Foil Stamping

Simple and  elegant. Foil stamping [also known as gold foil stamping] allows for a “high” end look. Usually printed in gold or silver colors.

Foil stamping is a special kind of printing procedure where heat, pressure, and a metallic paper (foil) is used to create different shiny designs and graphics on various materials. Foil stamping gives the stamped design a shiny

Foil stamping is also referred to as hot stamping (because of the use of heat), foil printing, dry stamping, and leaf stamping.

Foil stamping is a dry style of printing because it does not use any sort of ink for printing purposes.  foil stamping uses dies or carved metal plates, heat, and foil in the stamping process.

In the foil stamping process, the die or the sculpted metal plate comes in contact with the foil and transfers a thin layer of the foil film onto the intended surface. As the metal plate is heated, the foil sticks to the surface only in the design of the plate and in the required areas with the desired imprint

Debossing

is a process where we electronically[using our high frequency RF] remove the grain or texture of the vinyl creating a depression in the vinyl. It is usually done “blind” providing depth or a 3 dimensional look.

Debossing is typically a method used in leather, simulated leather, and vinyl products to display a logo or text. Alot of “leather look” vinyls are debossed.

Debossing leaves a permanent and elegant look to the final product whereas foil stamping which is another method used on leather items or simulated leather items, might rub off over time. Debossing is a more expensive method of personalization because of the process.

A metal die is created based on the provided artwork from the client. Dies are made of brass, copper, or magnesium. The die is depressed into the leather so your logo or text is three dimensional. The ultimate result is an elegant, professional and high perceived item.
